Enough proof was presented for the Martin Bakole-Efe Ajagba fight to be removed from the IBF’s purse bid docket. The Ring has confirmed that the IBF has canceled a scheduled Thursday hearing to determine promotional rights for its ordered heavyweight title eliminator. The fight was previously announced by Turki Alalshikh, head of Riyadh Season and the new owner of The Ring and its components, as part of a May 2 Ring Magazine show in New York City.

Congolese heavyweight contender Martin Bakole is not mincing any words around a potential all-African matchup against Anthony Joshua. Joshua, a British-born-and-based boxer of Nigerian heritage, recently quipped that he believed fellow Nigerian heavyweight contender Efe Ajagba could beat Bakole.

Jared Anderson (17-1, 15 KOs) will return to action six months since Martin Bakole snapped his perfect run when facing Marios Kollias on February 14 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York, an official informed of the deal told Ring Magazine Monday.
