Warriors Jack Rafferty and Mark Chamberlain insist that their junior welterweight fight on Saturday night will live up to the hype.

This time last year, Jack Rafferty’s life looked very different. Unsigned, relatively unknown and very dangerous, the 29 year-old from Shaw had just begun training for a vacant British super lightweight title fight with the unbeaten Henry Turner.

The news came as no surprise to Chamberlain. In fact, the 26-year-old revealed that he too has asked about the possibility of the fight landing on the same show.

"I can't see why it's not worthy enough to be on the Usyk-Dubois bill at Wembley Stadium on July 19th. I think it's definitely worth another defence of the British and Commonwealth titles and maybe another belt as well."

This time last year, Mark Chamberlain was flying high. The 26 year-old southpaw had become a staple on high profile Riyadh Season shows and a string of impressive finishes saw him steadily working his way up the lightweight world rankings.
