Official Terms and Conditions - #ShadowBoxingRingMagazine Competition
1. The Promoter
- The Ring Magazine
- This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform.
- SNK Fatal Fury is not responsible for the administration of this competition.
2. Eligibility
- Open to participants globally aged 18+
- Employees of The Ring Magazine, SNK Fatal Fury, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this competition are excluded.
- Entrants must have a public social media account to participate.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify entrants' eligibility.
3. Competition Period
- Opens on April 1, 2025.
- Closes on April 19, 2025.
- Entries received after this time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
- Participants must:
- Record a 10-15 second video of themselves shadow boxing.
- Upload the video to [Instagram/Twitter/TikTok] using the hashtag #ShadowBoxingRingMagazine.
- Ensure their account is public for entry verification.
- Entries outside of the 10-15 second duration will be disqualified.
- Multiple submissions are allowed, but each entry must be unique.
- No purchase necessary.
5. Winner Selection
- A panel of judges from The Ring Magazine and SNK Fatal Fury will select the winning entry based on:
- Technique & Form
- Creativity & Style
- The winner(s) will be announced on 20th of April 2025 via The Ring Magazine's official social media channels.
- The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. The Prize
- Grand Prize (1 Winner):
- The winner will receive two (2) tickets to one of the following events (winner's choice):
- Chris Eubank Jr vs Conor Benn at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (UK)
- Fatal Fury Times Square NYC (USA)
- The winner will receive two (2) tickets to one of the following events (winner's choice):
- The prize includes:
- Round-trip travel (standard economy flights/train tickets from a UK airport or station).
- Accommodation for 2 nights in a 3-star or higher hotel (standard twin or double room).
- Transfers to and from the event venue (if applicable).
- Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Winner is responsible for:
- Obtaining any required travel visas.
- Complying with entry requirements for the selected event location (e.g., passport, travel authorisation).
- Additional costs (meals, personal expenses, travel insurance, extra hotel nights, seat upgrades, etc.).
- If a winner cannot attend the event, no alternative prize will be provided.
7. Winner Notification & Claiming
- Winners will be notified via direct message on the platform used for entry.
- Winners must respond within 48 hours with:
- Full name
- Contact details
- Proof of identity
- Failure to respond within the given timeframe may result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.
- Winners must confirm event selection & availability before claiming.
8. Copyright & Ownership
- By entering, participants confirm that their submission is 100% original and does not infringe on any third-party copyright.
- Participants retain ownership of their video but grant The Ring Magazine & SNK Fatal Fury:
- A perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, reproduce, and distribute the content for promotional purposes (social media, digital)
- The right to modify or edit the video for promotional use.
- If The Ring Magazine or SNK Fatal Fury wishes to use the content for commercial purposes, additional permissions may be required.
9. Disclaimer & Liability
- Participants are solely responsible for the content of their submissions.
- The Ring Magazine and SNK Fatal Fury assume no liability for:
- Copyright disputes arising from participant submissions.
- Travel disruptions, cancellations, or delays.
- Lost, late, or corrupted entries.
- The actions of third parties, including social media platforms.
- The Promoter reserves the right to remove, disqualify, or report any entries that:
- Violate copyright laws.
- Contain inappropriate, offensive, or defamatory content.
- Breach platform terms of service.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring their own safety while performing shadow boxing for their entry. The Promoter is not responsible for any injuries sustained while filming.
10. Data Protection
- Personal data collected will be used only for the administration of this competition.
- Winner details will be retained only as required under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
- These terms are governed by English law.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
