FEATURED INTERVIEW
Leigh Wood: I Don't Want To Keep Taking Punches For The Rest Of My Life
Leigh Wood may have been quiet but the two-time featherweight champion certainly hasn’t been idle. Wood hasn’t boxed since scoring a dramatic come-from-behind knockout in the seventh round of his WBA title defence against Josh Warrington in October 2023.

Leigh Wood: If Someone Thinks They're Harder Than Me, I Can Prove Them Wrong
’s risk taking style and one punch power have made the two-time featherweight champion must-see television. However, much like an actor who flits between shooting big budget Hollywood action pictures and classic off-Broadway stage productions, some of Wood's most effective work has come when he tones things down and goes back to basics.

Anthony Cacace: 'It was a long road, but I'm here'
spent years scratching around for an opportunity, but the 36-year-old Irishman has recently been spoilt for choice. Leigh Wood: Has Anthony Cacace's Chin Been Tested? We'll See
Leigh Wood isn’t expecting an 18 month lay off to affect him in the slightest when he fights former IBF super featherweight champion, Anthony Cacace, next month. Injury and a change in promotional outfits have kept the two-time WBA featherweight champion out of the ring since he stopped Josh Warrington in dramatic fashion back in October 2023 but despite the long lay-off, the 36 year-old is sure that he will quickly recapture his old form when he steps up to 130lbs to fight Cacace at the Nottingham Arena on May 10th.

Anthony ‘Anto’ Cacace has finally decided to step down from the throne. The red-hot Belfast southpaw confirmed that he has relinquished his IBF junior lightweight title. The decision came after a months-long waiting period for Mexico’s Eduardo Nuñez, Cacace’s mandatory challenger who will now get to compete for the vacant title. “Today I have decided to vacate my IBF world title,” Cacace said on Friday via social media. “Becoming a world champion was an absolute dream and an incredibly proud moment for me. “However , at this stage of my career, I only want the biggest fights possible, regardless of the belt on the line.”
