Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions have completed a double swoop for British stars
Savannah Marshall and
Chantelle Cameron.
The upstart promotional company has quickly emerged as the place to be for female fighters, with multi-weight champion Amanda Serrano one of the first to align with Paul.
And they have recently added some of the finest fighters in the women’s game to their roster, with unified super bantamweight champion Ellie Scotney and undisputed super featherweight queen Alycia Baumgardner
signing deals.
Now Scotney’s fellow Brits Marshall and Cameron also have joined the MVP ranks with both set to make their debuts under the banner on a
July 11 supershow at Madison Square Garden headlined by Serrano’s trilogy fight with Katie Taylor.
MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said: “MVP represents the most dominant roster of UK women’s athlete in boxing.”
Cameron, 33, became undisputed super lightweight champion when she beat Taylor in Dublin on May 20, 2023, but lost the belts in their rematch six months later.
She returned with a pair of points wins during 2024 but has not boxed since November, when she beat Patricia Berghult in what proved to be the final fight of her deal with Queensberry Promotions.
Marshall, meanwhile, has been even less active having not boxed since she became undisputed super middleweight champion via a majority decision victory over Franchon Crews Dezurn in July 2023.
She has since competed as a mixed martial artist, marking her PFL Europe debut with a stoppage victory in her hometown of Newcaslte in June.
And now she has officially ended her long association with Boxxer by linking up with MVP and Paul.
