The WBC Boxing Grand Prix finals are underway in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
There are four final phase fights; at featherweight, junior welterweight, middleweight and heavyweight.
Each fight is eight three-minute rounds. Fights cannot end in a draw, and the bouts are scored on a qualitative scoring system if a fight is even at the end.

Heavyweight
Kevin Ramirez def. Ahmed Krnjic UD 8
Argentine Kevin Ramirez won the WBC Grand Prix heavyweight title by ousting Ahmed Krnjic on points with unanimous scores which read 77-75, 77-75, 78-74. Underdog Ramirez boxed well from the outside but landed his best shots by rushing Krnjic with quick combinations on the inside to claim the $100,000 prize.
Featherweight
Brandon Mejía Mosqueda def. Muhamet Qamili UD 8
Brandon Mejía Mosqueda became the 126-pound WBC Boxing Grand Prix champion after winning a unanimous decision against Muhamet Qamili with scores of 76-75, 78-73, 77-74. The fight was a scrappy one but Mosqueda, from Mexico, landed the cleaner punches throughout and was a fully-deserved winner.
Junior welterweight
Carlos Utria def. Mujibillo Tursunov UD 8
Carlos Utria picked up the title at 140 pounds after overcoming Mujibillo Tursunov in a tough fight with scores of 77-75, 77-75, 78-74. Utria, a 22-year-old from Colombia, got through with right hands and uppercuts throughout the whole fight while Tursunov struggled to get going with any effective attacks.
