Tyson Fury Teases Boxing Return In Instagram Video With SugarHill Steward
Retired Tyson Fury has teased a ring return with an Instagram video alongside trainer Sugar Hill Steward.

The Gypsy King, a two-time world heavyweight champion, surprisingly announced his retirement from boxing back in January in the wake of back-to-back points defeats to Oleksandr Usyk.

“I’m going to make this short and sweet,” he had said. “I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing.”

The decision, which was applauded by his long-term promoter Frank Warren and manager Spencer Brown, appeared to rule out any chance of the long-awaited Battle of Britain with Anthony Joshua.

But now, three months on from that announcement, Fury has once again taken to social media with a post which has got fans speculating a comeback for the 36-year-old from Morecambe.

“Just in the gym and I bumped into somebody you might know,” Fury said before turning the camera to reveal Stewart, who has been his coach since before his famous seventh round knockout victory over Deontay Wilder.

“You got it…You know what time it is,” Steward says, before Fury adds: “You know what’s coming.”

The timing of the video is interesting given that Usyk’s undisputed clash with Daniel Dubois at Wembley was officially announced on Sunday, with the pair photographed together at Wembley on Monday.

Meanwhile Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn has always insisted that Fury will eventually come back in order to finally take on AJ.

The London 2012 Olympic gold medalist, who has also won the world heavyweight title twice, has not boxed since he was stopped inside five rounds by Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in September.

He has spent time in Africa as he recovers from what Hearn described as an injury to the ‘top half of his body’ with a return to full training pencilled in for ‘April-May’.

Now the timing might be perfect for Fury to come out of retirement in order to share the ring with Joshua for the first time since they sparred in at Finchley ABC 15 years ago.
