Turki Alalshikh, head of Riyadh Season and chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, wants to see a British heavyweight grudge match between former world champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
Despite their recent setbacks, Fury vs. Joshua is still regarded as one of the biggest fights to be made in the division.
"I want Joshua vs Tyson. I spoke with Fury but not about boxing. I just checked about his health and his family. I think he maybe will return. I hope so," Alalshikh told The Stomping Ground.
Joshua has been out of the ring since getting knocked out in five rounds by IBF world champion Daniel Dubois back in September of 2024.
Joshua was ringside on Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - as he scouted heavyweight foes - with Agit Kabayel knocking out Zhilei Zhang in six rounds, and Joseph Parker blasting out Martin Bakole in two rounds.
Fury has suffered back to back decision losses at the hands of unified world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
A few weeks following his December loss in the Usyk rematch, Fury took to social media to announce his retirement from the sport. Fury has retired several times in the past and many experts believe he will fight again in the future.
