Turki Alalshikh Reacts To Widespread Rumors of Canelo vs. Crawford Deal
Turki Alalshikh, owner of The Ring and the head of Riyadh Season, reacted to the widespread rumors that a deal has been finalized for a super middleweight showdown between pound-for-pound greats Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford.

Earlier this month in London, both Canelo and Crawford took part in separate meetings with Alalshikh. Both boxers traveled to the UK to attend the Ring Magazine Awards gala.

Canelo vs. Crawford is arguably the biggest fight in the sport, with rumors circulating that a potential showdown could land in the month of September.

However, Alalshikh took to social media to caution the boxing public - by creating a humorous post which sent a clear message to not believe everything that's being circulated in the media.

Along with his written message, Alalshikh posted a video where he and Crawford were speaking with Canelo on FaceTime.

“This [video] is from a few days ago, we are not talking about boxing…we talked about the video game Fatal Fury City of the Wolves, which will launch on the 24th of April 2025…I challenged them in the game, this is the only thing I can challenge them with in relation to combat…They accepted my challenge in the game and we all betting on a dinner on the loser…and we decided that we don’t do the boxing fight because all three of us hate boxing and we decided to choose Yoga instead…continue talking, and continue spreading rumors at the end, only the three of us know and decide what and when and where things happen," Alalshikh wrote on social media.
