Matchroom Boxing are set to announce the signing of 18-year-old amateur sensation Tiah Ayton.
Bristol's Ayton made headlines at the age of 10 when she became a three-time Junior European and World kickboxing champion, as well as a Muay Thai World Open winner.
Though she competes as a featherweight, Ayton, of Weston Warriors ABC, won the Haringey Box Cup in June 2024 at the 60kg lightweight limit, stopping her opponents in the semi-final and final.
As a youngster she harboured aspirations of competing at the Olympics, but has decided now is the time to turn professional, joining fellow teenagers
Adam Maca and
Leo Atang at Matchroom.
Ayton, who's expected to make her professional debut this summer, has an unblemished 21-0 record as an amateur.
Earlier this year, Ayton was brought into Skye Nicolson's camp as a sparring partner before the Australian's
WBC featherweight world title clash with Tiara Brown in Sydney.
The signing marks Matchroom's third teenage signing in the last month as they look to build a flashy new roster of British starlets who can take the mantle set to be passed on by
Anthony Joshua in the not-too-distant future.
Atang, an 18-year-old heavyweight from Legions ABC in York, was a five-time national champion and is likely to make his debut in July on a Jack Catterall card in Manchester.
Maca, 17, was also a five-time national title winner in the unpaid ranks and will
make his debut in New York on June 14 on the undercard of Richardson Hitchins-George Kambosos Jr at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.
Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn told The Ring last month: "I've said before, there's three of them - Leo Atang, Adam Maca and a girl called Tiah Ayton. They're all sensational, they're very young, it's quite unique that you get fighters that young who are actually looking to turn pro now.
"We've got Leo, we're hopeful on Adam, and I think we're in a great position with Tiah."
Just two-and-a-half weeks later and Hearn has his desired teenage trio nailed down.
