Thompson-Benitez Undercard Results: Taz Nadeem, Ed Hardy Record Emphatic Stoppage Wins
Taz Nadeem recorded a monstrous stoppage win in his bout with Jaskirat Singh on the undercard of Shakiel Thompson-David Benitez in Sheffield. The card, promoted by GBM Sports, is being streamed live on DAZN.

In arguably the performance of the night so far, super-middleweight Nadeem (5-0, 3 KOs) iced his opponent Singh (5-4-1, 3 KOs) in the first round, flooring the Indian with a brilliant left hand, before ending things an equally-emphatic right hand once he rose to his feet.

In one of the other performances of the evening, junior-lightweight prospect Ed Hardy (3-0, 2 KOs) knocked out Leonardo Baez (5-9, 0 KOs) in two rounds.

Hardy floored Baez at the end of the first round after a barrage of punches and it was all over in the second after a vicious left hook to the body downed the Argentine for a second time.

In a junior-lightweight fight, Nohman Hussain (6-0, 3 KOs) overcame Erick Omar Lopez (16-23-2, 10 KOs) across six underwhelming rounds of action.

The size and class disparity was clear from the onset and, in all honesty, Hussain should've got his under-matched Mexican opponent out of there before the end of the fight.

Reece Mould, (20-3, 6 KOs) beat Stefan Vincent (2-26, 0 KOs) as he continues his rebuild following last September's stunning first-round knockout loss to Ryan Walsh.

Mould, cornered by Sean O'Hagan, former IBF featherweight champion Josh Warrington and lightweight contender Maxi Hughes, didn't have it all his own way against Vincent, but got the win 59-55 on the cards after a responsible boxing display in their welterweight bout.

In the first fight of the night, Donte Dixon (8-0, 3 KOs) shook off the cobwebs to beat journeyman Kevin Trana (12-23-3, 9 KOs) over four rounds in a lightweight contest.

Dixon hadn't been in the ring since the summer of 2023 and was once touted as a promising young prospect, fighting on Matchroom's Billy Joe Saunders-Martin Murray card in December 2020.

Back in the swing of things, 25-year-old Dixon boxed well and used the full 12 minutes to extend his unbeaten record, with the hope being that he increases his in-ring activity from this point on.
