For the first time since a change in ownership late last year, boxing fans can purchase copies of “The Bible of Boxing” without paying additional shipping costs for home delivery. PDF versions of the past seven issues of the digital magazine
are available for free on this website, including the May edition, which features
Canelo Alvarez on the cover.
Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Kroger, Loblaws, London Drugs, Meijer, Publix, Real Canadian Superstore, Safeway, Save On Foods, Walmart and Zehrs are among the major supermarket and retail chains that now carry The Ring in the U.S. and Canada. It is also available at Barnes & Noble, Chapters, Hudson News and Indigo bookstore chains in those two countries and more than 180 retailers throughout England.
Founded by Nat Fleischer more than 100 years ago, The Ring has been a prominent print publication in boxing almost continuously since 1922.
Retired six-division champion Oscar De La Hoya, who owned The Ring for 17 years, sold it to Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalshikh early in November. Alalshikh revived the print edition, which had been discontinued early in 2023,
staged the inaugural Ring awards gala in January in London and arranged three Ring pay-per-view cards for April 26 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, May 2 at Times Square in Manhattan and
