Super middleweight Steven Butler will look to build on a strong 2025 campaign when facing upset-minded Ramadan Hiseni at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada on March 5.
Butler (37-5-1, 31 KOs) scored a pair of stoppage victories last year, avenging defeat by Juan Macias with a fourth-round knockout in June before stopping Stephane Fondjo in round nine of their November 13 meeting after rival Erik Bazinyan withdrew again.
Meanwhile, Hiseni (22-2-2, 8 KOs) is no stranger to Canadian shores having drawn with Shamil Khataev over 10 rounds in June 2024 and enters this contest coming off a surprise 10-round points win over Alexandre Gaumont on December 11.
"Hiseni represents a big risk—I know that better than anyone," Eye of The Tiger president Camille Estephan said in a press release. "For me and EOTTM, this is a revenge fight but for Steven, it's his chance to prove he's a serious contender at super middleweight."
Butler appreciates this is a dangerous fight for him, especially given Hiseni's previous success against his stablemates.
"It's clear we can't take him lightly—but enough is enough," he said. "On March 5, the job will get done. If he’s expecting the same result as the first two times [at super middleweight], he will be surprised."
In the co-feature, Lenar Perez (15-0, 14 KOs) will end a 11-month layoff when squaring off against teak-tough veteran gatekeeper Isaac Chilemba (27-10-3, 11 KOs) at cruiserweight.
Popular welterweight Christopher Guerrero (16-0, 9 KOs) will face Samuel Rodriguez (12-0, 11 KOs).
Highly-touted Ring Ambassador Jhon 'El Tigre' Orobio (16-0, 14 KOs) will meet Yomar Alamo (22-5-1, 13 KOs) at junior welterweight.
Former world title challenger Steven Claggett (39-8-2, 27 KOs) will return after injury saw him sidelined for 2025. He, as well as power-punching super middleweight Moreno 'The Soldier' Fendero (13-0, 10 KOs) are earmarked to fight but don't currently have opponents.
