Former featherweight title challenger Sam Goodman is set to come back after the first loss of his professional career.

Goodman (20-1, 8 KOs) will take on Tyler Blizzard (10-0, 4 KOs) on December 17 at TikTok Entertainment Centre in Sydney, Australia. The 10-round featherweight fight will be featured on the No Limit Boxing Promotions show headlined by Tim Tszyu's bout against Anthony Velazquez.

Goodman had a spirited loss in August against WBA featherweight champion Nick Ball in Saudi Arabia. Ball outlanded Goodman 240-220 in the firefight to win by unanimous decision.

Blizzard turned pro three years ago and doesn't have the same level of experience as his fellow Australian, who has wins over TJ Doheny and Ra'eese Aleem.

Blizzard hasn't beaten anyone with double-digit wins. He is coming off a June win against Rocky Ogden in which he fought until the 10th round for the first time in his career.
