It was a quiet weekend for boxing fans but there were still world titles contested and there's one seismic change in the heavyweight division in
The Ring's latest ratings update.
The big news at bantamweight is that
Junto Nakatani has vacated his Ring title with his debut at junior featherweight scheduled for Dec. 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Japanese star will take on Sebastian Hernandez on
'The Ring V: Night of the Samurai'.
On Saturday night,
Oscar Collazo retained his Ring, WBA and WBO strawweight titles with a seventh-round stoppage victory over Jayson Vayson.
On the undercard of that bout, Gabriela Fundora kept hold of her Ring and undisputed flyweight titles with a
seventh-round knockout of her own against Alexas Kubicki.
Earlier in the week
Liam Paro beat David Papot by unanimous decision on his welterweight debut.
