The Ring's Latest Ratings: New Entries At Heavyweight, Strawweight
After another exciting weekend of boxing, there are more changes to The Ring's divisional ratings, including a new entry at heavyweight.

Moses Itauma lit the touch paper in boxing's glamour division after stopping former world title challenger Dillian Whyte in 119 seconds in the main event of a DAZN PPV at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's ANB Arena.

There are now calls for the 20-year-old to come up against undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in his next fight, most notably from His Excellency Turki Alalshikh.

On the undercard, Nick Ball retained his WBA featherweight title with a unanimous points victory Sam Goodman and Raymond Ford beat Abraham Nova by the same method.

In the most entertaining fight of the night, Filip Hrgovic overcame a rough and tough David Adeleye to register the 19th win of his professional career.

Ring ambassador Hayato Tsutsumi and Riyadh Season stalwart Mohammed Alakel also picked up wins on the stacked card.

Scroll down to see the changes to the two divisions in question.

Panel comments

Itauma enters heavyweight rankings

Anson Wainwright: Now, while he did what he's supposed to against an aged Whyte and it's still very early, the manner was startling. I think he could enter at No. 10 in our ratings. He looked a force of nature last night. He'll quickly move up too.

Droeks Malan: Statement win by Itauma who remains untested but keeps checking the formbook in spectacular form. Itauma entering at 10 means Ajagba exits and Bakole whom he had a draw against stays which is a bit odd. Then again, one could make the argument that Bakole's overall resume is better so I am fine with Itauma at 10.

New entry at strawweight

Doug Fischer: I'll cast my vote for Beaven Sibanda over Takero Kitano for No. 10 at strawweight. Kitano is unbeaten but he's still fighting eight-round bouts. Sibanda has gone the full 12 vs. a Ring-rated fighter (Siyakholwa Kuse) and hung in there with him; plus his last bout was scheduled for 10 rounds.
