Strawweight champion and newly anointed pound-for-pounder Oscar Collazo has signed a marketing deal with Bad Bunny’s Rimas Sports in hopes of taking his career to the next level.
Oscar Collazo is heading into 2026 with tremendous momentum.
Earlier in the week, The Ring, WBA, and WBO 105-pound champion entered The Ring’s pound-for-pound rankings and signed a marketing deal with Bad Bunny’s Rimas Sports to expand his global reach and increase his recognition.
The move marks the latest Puerto Rican who the internationally acclaimed artist Bad Bunny has signed to his stable. In recent months, Rimas Sports also added WBO junior middleweight titleholder Xander Zayas and second-generation prospect Juanma “Juanmita” Lopez De Jesus to secure sponsorships, partnerships, and other related marketing and advertising deals.
“It is a great honor for me to be part of Rimas Sports and to continue growing alongside a team that believes in my vision and my future,” said Collazo. “The ‘Jibarito’ from Villalba continues to make his mark on the world, which fills me with motivation and responsibility. I am deeply grateful to my team – De León Management, Miguel Cotto Promotions, H2 Entertainment, and Golden Boy – for managing my career the right way and at the highest level.
"I know great opportunities are coming, and I am convinced that 2026 will be our year. We will keep working to make history and represent Puerto Rico with pride.”
Collazo (13-0, 10 KOs) has scored seven stoppage wins over his last eight fights dating back to 2023, which kickstarted his world title reign. Last year, Collazo crushed Edwin Cano Hernandez inside five rounds in March and Jayson Vayson in seven rounds in September to earn pound-for-pound status.
"Oscar Collazo is not only an extraordinary talent in the ring, but also a true example of discipline, determination, and commitment to excellence,” said Alejandro Padron, director of Rimas Sports. “We are excited to support him in this stage of his career, expanding his global impact while honoring his identity and Puerto Rican pride. Together, we aim to take his brand and legacy to new heights."
Rimas Sports also represents athletes like baseball stars Ronald Acuna Jr. and Fernando Tatis Jr.
