Matchroom have won the promotional rights to stage Galal Yafai-Francisco Rodriguez Jr for the interim WBC flyweight title.
With a lone bid of $222,000 (£171,000), Matchroom will look to get the fight secured for the summer, with a date and location yet to be agreed upon.
The winner will be mandatory challenger for current WBC 112-pound titleholder Kenshiro Teraji, who is The Ring's pound-for-pound No. 10 fighter.
Yafai (9-0, 7 KOs) was last in action in November, stopping former IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards in six rounds to cement himself as one of the best fighters in Britain.
The Olympic gold-medallist has been with Matchroom for the entirety of his professional career, having left the amateur system following his success at Tokyo 2020.
Rodriguez Jr (39-6-1, 27 KOs) has been in a mandatory position for the title since 2023 after beating compatriot Joel Cordova that same year.
A year before that, Rodriguez Jr was beaten by unanimous decision by current WBO bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani.
Teraji recently unified his WBC and Ring titles with the WBA strap after beating Seigo Yuri Akui by 12th-round stoppage in a fight of the year contender earlier this month in Tokyo.
