Lewis Richardson, Paris 2024 Bronze Medallist, Inks Promotional Deal With Frank Warren
Team GB Olympic bronze-medallist Lewis Richardson has signed a promotional deal with Queensberry Promotions and Frank Warren.

Richardson was the only British boxer to medal at the Paris 2024 games and is now ready to go pro, becoming the first male medalist to sign with Warren from debut since James DeGale in 2008.

The 27-year-old also won silver at the 2022 European Championships and Bronze at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

A southpaw, Richardson will campaign as a junior-middleweight in the paid ranks, and is expected to make his debut in the coming months.

"The Olympic medal, without doubt the proudest moment of my life," he said.

"To be the only Olympic medalist for Great Britain at the Paris 2024 Games makes that little bit extra sweet.

"I'm exciting, skilful, fit, durable, fast. My aspirations are to go all the way, win a world title, I remember watching the likes of Joe Calzaghe, Richie Woodhall and in recent years, Tyson Fury.

"Years and years of experience Frank Warren has, I felt really welcome when I met him in the offices, he's got a nice history wall of fighters past and present, it gives you goosebumps knowing you're joining a very illustrious group."

Richardson was beaten by Mexico’s Marco Verde on a split decision in the Paris 2024 junior-middleweight semi-finals, having overcome Serbia's Vakhid Abbasov and Jordan's Zeyad Eashash before that.

Warren said: “Absolutely delighted to announce that Lewis has signed to Queensberry. We expect big things from a top talent.

"I really like him and all the team at Queensbury are quite enthusiastic about it. So he's a good addition to the roster and I'm expecting some big things of him."

GB Boxing wrote earlier this week: “Everyone at GB Boxing would like to wish Lewis Richardson the very best in the next step in his career following his release from the World Class Programme (WCP). We thank you for your commitment to the WCP since joining us back in January 2018.”
