Jimmy Sains Earns Crushing KO Win On Liddard-Osaze Card, Giogio Visioli Also Bags Stoppage
Jimmy Sains, the 'Brentwood Beterbiev' as he's better known these days, picked up another bruising knockout win in his middleweight bout with Pierre Rosadini in London tonight.

The clash between Sains (9-0, 9 KOs) and Rosadini (6-4-3) took place at the Indigo at the O2 Arena on the undercard of George Liddard-Derrick Osaze live on DAZN.

Coming into the bout, Sains earned his playful moniker as the second coming of Russia's Undisputed Light Heavyweight champ by knocking out all of his previous eight opponents.

And he made it nine KOs in as many fights after demolishing Rosadini with a right hand followed up by a vicious flurry against the ropes in the seventh round of their contest, after scoring a fifth-round knockdown earlier for good measure.

Sains had the opportunity to make it an early night in the opening round, landing a shattering right hand that could be felt from press row. Rosadini survived the ensuing onslaught and managed to take it to the middle rounds.

Much of the same followed from Sains; a sense of urgency etched across his face as he went in search of the stoppage. In the fifth he nearly got it. Another big right hand-left hook combination this time floored Rosadini, who managed to make it to the end of the round.

Sains took a more considered approach in the sixth, and found himself landing bigger shots as a result. Frenchman Rosadini stood up to most of it, including another big right hook with 30 seconds of the round to go.

In the seventh stanza, it all came together for Sains, who, with 45 seconds left in the round, landed yet another big right. Rosadini was stunned and Sains was ready to finish the job.

The 24-year-old followed his right hand up with a brutal combination against the ropes, sending Rosadini to the canvas. Once he got up, the referee decided he'd seen enough, ending the contest with 27 seconds left in the seventh.

Earlier on the main card, Giorgio Visioli completely dominated his eight-round bout with Francisco Lucero, scoring a fifth-round TKO win after his opponent failed to get off his stool for the sixth.

Visioli (6-0, 5 KOs) came out of the traps fast, landing blistering combinations on his under-matched opponent, who looked to cover up from the off.

It became clear pretty early that Visioli's job in the fight was to cut the ring off and use his footwork from the southpaw stance to land whenever an opening presented itself.

In the third round, Visioli landed a piercing right hand just as Lucero (16-7, 12 kOs) dropped his glove, momentarily stunning the Mexican. But tough as the horse he rode in on, Lucero wouldn't wilt that early.

The fourth brought more of the same punishment for Lucero. Left and right hooks landed at will for Visioli, but still the visitor stood firm.

If Visioli was going to score a stoppage, he would have to conserve energy heading into the backend of the fight; and that he did in the fifth round. His attack was more considered, and Lucero got the chance to take a breather from his previous shellacking.

But after sitting down in his corner, Lucero decided enough was enough, and out came his gum shield, awarding Visioli the fifth-round TKO victory.
