Eddie Hearn, promoter for undefeated welterweight contender Conor Benn, believes Chris Eubank Jr. has an even bigger advantage in the rescheduled bout.
The two rivals were initially set to collide in October of 2022. The contest was canceled a few days before the fight after Benn tested positive for a banned substance.
Their initial agreement, more than two years ago, had the bout taking place at a catch-weight of 157-pounds.
This time around, the two fighters will meet at the full middleweight limit of 160 - a weight limit that Eubank has made in his last four contests.
A deal was recently reached for the date of April 26, with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium being mentioned in several reports as a potential venue for the fight.
"It's a much better position for Chris Eubank than the first fight from a weight perspective, at his natural weight," Hearn told BBC NI. "Conor Benn's coming up two divisions and looking to take his head off."
However, there is also a hydration clause in the agreement. Eubank, who during his career has fought as high as the super middleweight limit of 168, will not be allowed to weight more than 170 on the morning of the fight.
According to Hearn, because his boxer is moving up the rehydration clause is not "unreasonable".
The contest will generate a lot of historical tension, because their two famous fathers are regarded as British legends and took part in a high-profile rivalry in the 1990s.
"We know the grudge matches, how difficult it is. It's petty. There's ego. And it takes time," Hearn said. "[This will be a] big stadium fight. Two years in the waiting. A lot of headaches. Lost a lot of hair over it. But can't wait for a massive night."
