Gary Antuanne Russell's 140-pound title defense against Andy Hiraoka is slated to take place in the first quarter of 2026.

Russell was scheduled to defend his WBA strap against Hiraoka on November 14 on the undercard of the canceled Jake Paul-Gervonta Davis fight in Miami.

Once Premier Boxing Champions' Davis was removed from the event due to allegations of domestic violence, he was replaced by Anthony Joshua and the even took place on December 19 instead.

Russell is also represented by PBC, and his fight with Hiraoka was nixed from the card altogether, though it will be rescheduled for 2026.
