Frank Martin is ready to fight.
Against who and when still remains to be seen for The Ghost, who was last in the ring in June against Gervonta Davis, suffering an eighth-round knockout loss to Tank.
On Thursday, Martin refuted a report that he was in negotiations to face Edwin De Los Santos on the undercard of a reported fight between Martin promoter Errol Spence Jr. and WBC and WBO junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora on March 29.
“I heard nun bout no negotiations,” Martin said on X. “I ain’t keeping nun a secret I ain’t heard s***.”
Martin (18-1, 12 KOs) is ranked No. 8 by The Ring at 135 pounds.
But in November, the 29-year-old southpaw from Indianapolis stated that he’d be resuming his career at 140 pounds.
Martin’s fight against Davis took place at 135 pounds for Tank’s WBA lightweight title. Martin was showing a solid account of himself for the first few rounds but faded late once Davis came on strong.
At the time of the stoppage, Martin was down only one point on the three scorecards.
