Golden Boy Promotions is set to kick off its 2025 season.
Eric Priest and Tyler Howard both came in at career-high weights for their headlining act. Priest (14-0, 8 KOs) weighed 164.2 pounds. Howard (20-2, 11 KOs) checked in at 163.6 pounds. Their scheduled ten-round super middleweight bout will air live on DAZN this Thursday from Commerce Casino in Commerce, California.
Priest has primarily campaigned at middleweight but agreed to the heavier weight for the regional super middleweight title at stake. The 26-year-old prospect from Overland Park, Kansas stepped up to the ten-round level last year, where he went the distance in each of his two fights on the year.
Howard aims to change his luck after suffering both career defeats within his last three fights. The 31-year-old Crossville, Tennessee native most recently dropped a ten-round decision to Troy Isley last Nov. 8 in Norfolk, Virginia. He was outpointed by Ian Green two fights prior in their Nov. 2021 meeting in Las Vegas.
Below are the weights for the rest of the undercard, which begins at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.
