Eddie Hearn Open To Anthony Joshua Getting In The Ring With Jake Paul
Jake Paul loves naming names. He might still be relatively new to the sport, but his popularity is through the roof. He’s also a needle pusher.

A few years ago, the biggest stars in boxing openly ignored him. Fast forward to today, however, and things are different. Considering the revenue he’s bringing in, countless fighters are not only open to fighting him, but many are outright chasing him.

Paul, whether anyone wants to admit it or not, can face just about anyone. But, he knows who he can pick on and who he can’t. Lately, nevertheless, he’s been a bit more bold.

Just a few weeks ago, Paul brazenly mentioned the name Anthony Joshua. He paid his respects to the former unified heavyweight champion but went on to say that he could beat him.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s long time promoter, checked if there was any wax in his ears. In no way, shape, or form does he believe that Paul would stand a chance with his man. Yet, if the former YouTuber turned boxer wanted to try his luck, something can be arranged.

“We’re not basing our career around a potential fight with Jake Paul,” said Hearn to a group of reporters. ”But if we were offered it? Why not? It would be such an easy night’s work.”

Joshua, 35, is still scratching his head following his latest trip to the ring. This past September, the former Olympic gold medalist was violently stopped in just five rounds at the hands of Daniel Dubois.

But while that wasn’t his proudest moment, the last time someone who didn’t come from a boxing background called him out, it didn't end well for them.

Francis Ngannou is one of the most feared men in mixed martial arts but in the world of boxing, he was a novice. So, despite being heavy-handed and dangerous, Joshua laid him out cold in just two rounds.

Hearn, unsurprisingly, is confident that Paul’s fate would be even more devastating. You see, for the British promoter, he’s sat back and listened to Paul call out some of the biggest stars in boxing. To a certain extent, he finds it amusing. With that said, Joshua isn’t the sort of fighter that Paul should be playing around with.

“There’s a difference between fighting Gervonta Davis, even Canelo Alvarez, and then fighting AJ," continued Hearn. "The other two, you can get humiliated and beaten up a little bit. The other one, you can be fully decapitated. This ain’t a game.”
