Moses Itauma recorded his eighth first-round finish, and third on Saudi shores, to race through the first main event matchup of a burgeoning young career against former two-time interim champion Dillian Whyte. What did the punch stats say?
Dillian Whyte came into this contest scaling the lowest weight he's been since 2015 but Moses Itauma needed a second shy of two minutes to dismiss the two-time interim heavyweight champion with the same scary ease he has been blasting beyond all his opponents to date.
Itauma, 17 years his junior, admitted needing to quickly be wary of the firepower flashing back at him after absorbing a shot - Whyte landed just two - while the unbeaten 20-year-old connected on 19-of-34 punches (55.9%) before Swedish referee Mikael Hook waved it off.
