Anthony Yarde Lighter Than David Benavidez Before Saturday's Ring IV PPV Event
The participants from “The Ring IV: Night of the Champions” show are just one more sleep away from squaring off in their respective bouts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and on Friday, the headline attractions stepped on the scale to make their matchups official before ceremonial weigh-ins.

In the main event, David Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) will defend his WBC light heavyweight title against Anthony Yarde (27-3, 24 KOs).

Benavidez weighed 174.3 pounds and Yarde tipped the scales at 173.9 pounds - his lowest since December 2021 - for a fight featuring two of the world’s top-five light heavyweights. Benavidez is ranked second by The Ring, while Yarde sits two places below him in fourth.

In the co-main event, Brian Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 KOs, 1 NC) defends his WBO welterweight title against Devin Haney (32-0, 15 KOs, 1 NC).

Norman weighed 146.12 pounds for his third title defense while two-division titleholder Haney, making his welterweight debut, came at a career-high 146.6 pounds.

Preceding the chief support bout should be a tactical slugfest when The Ring, WBC, and WBO junior bantamweight champion Jesse Rodriguez (22-0, 15 KOs) takes on WBA belt holder Fernando Martinez (18-0, 9 KOs) in a title unification bout.

Rodriguez weighed in at 114.6 pounds while Martinez was almost a pound-and-a-half lighter at 113.2 pounds.

Kicking off the PPV portion of the card is a pitting that will crown a first-time titleholder when Abdullah Mason (19-0, 17 KOs) and Sam Noakes (17-0, 15 KOs) square off for the vacant WBO lightweight belt.

Mason weighed in at 134 pounds, while Noakes came in just under the championship limit at 134.9 pounds.

“The Ring IV: Night of the Champions” takes place on Saturday, November 22 and will stream live on DAZN PPV from 3 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. GMT (UK: £24.99; US: $59.99).
