A new co-feature is now in place for
Danny Garcia's final fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Nahir Albright will face former IBF lightweight champion
Richard Commey in a 10-round junior welterweight bout in the chief support slot.
Garcia will face Daniel Gonzalez in a 10-round main event billed as the former two division world champion's "Farewell to Brooklyn" on MILLIONS.co. pay-per-view (6pm ET/3pm PT).
Commey, 38,
was originally slated to face Ashton Sylve before landing on Albright as his next opponent. Commey (31-5-1, 28 KOs) of Accra, Ghana, ended a near two-and-a-half year layoff on August 31 with a second-round stoppage win over William Jackson in Detroit.
Four of Commey's five defeats have come against current or former world beltholders, including Ring junior welterweight champion
Teofimo Lopez and
recently-retired three-division king Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Philadelphia's Albright (17-2, 7 KOs) ended a 20-month layoff when
beating Kelvin Davis via 10-round majority decision on June 7. The win was marred, however, by a
post-fight attack on Albright from Kelvin's two younger brothers Keyshawn and Keon.
Albright, 29, has prior history with the Davis family, as he was on the wrong end of a majority decision in his previous appearance against WBO lightweight champion
Keyshawn in October 2023. However, the bout was later changed to a no-contest after Keyshawn's positive marijuana test - a banned substance for boxers competing in Texas.
Albright has won 16 of his last 17 fights since a pro debut defeat in September 2016, with the lone blemish being a 10-round points loss by former title challenger
Jamaine Ortiz (20-2-1, 10 KOs).
Elsewhere, the undercard will feature grizzled veteran
Gabriel Rosado (27-17-1, 16 KOs) facing Vaughn Alexander (19-16-2, 12 KOs) in an eight-round super middleweight bout.
Polish heavyweight Damian Knyba (16-0, 10 KOs) will face Philadelphia veteran Joey Daweljko over eight rounds, while former WBA interim junior lightweight champion
Chris Colbert (17-3, 6 KOs) ends a year-long layoff against Argentina's Blas Ezequiel Caro in a eight-round bout at 135-pounds.
