QUEBEC CITY, Canada —
Christian Mbilli and
Maciej Sulecki comfortably came inside the super middleweight limit at Thursday's weigh-in.
Both were respectful of each other, weighing in exactly the same 167.7, for their 12-round, 168-pound Interim title fight Friday night in Centre Videotron.
In an effort to keep the division active, Mbilli (28-0, 23 KOs) and Sulecki (33-3, 13 KOs) will contest the vacant interim WBC title.
Mbilli is ranked No. 1 by the WBC and Sulecki sits at No. 7.
ESPN+ will stream Mbilli-Sulecki as the main event of a nine-bout card. Undercard coverage is set to start at 6 p.m. ET.
Butler (35-5-1, 29 KOs) weighed in at 167.6, a little lighter than Argentina’s Macias (29-13-4, 15 KOs), who was 167.8.

Erik Bazinyan pulled out through injury.
