Caroline Dubois calls for unification clash with Terri Harper
Caroline Dubois has set her sights on unifying the lightweight division in 2026 and a showdown with her WBO counterpart, Terri Harper, is at the top of her hitlist.

On December 19, The Ring’s No. 1-ranked lightweight made her first appearance under the MVP promotional banner and successfully defended her WBC lightweight title with a wide decision win over Italy’s Camilla Panatta on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s knockout victory over Jake Paul.

The Netflix-screened event gave Dubois the opportunity to introduce herself to a global audience and, given the time and resources that MVP are pumping into women’s boxing, it is unlikely to be the last time the 24-year-old Londoner performs on such a stage.

“I keep telling myself that when I'm backstage,” Dubois (12-0-1, 5 KOs) told talkSPORT Boxing.
“When I'm doing the press conferences, the open workouts, the weigh-ins. Everything. Even facing down my opponent. I just know and I keep telling myself, “It's only going to get bigger. It's only going to get better. It’s only going to be a more important fight” so I just take each step as it comes and appreciate the little steps at the same time and I know it's only going to get harder from here so I'm excited.”

Dubois has long been linked to a fight with her fellow Brit, Harper (16-2-2, 6 KOs).

Harper became a three-weight champion by outpointing Rhiannon Dixon back in September of 2024 and defended her WBO belt against Natalie Zimmerman last May but The Ring’s No. 3-ranked lightweight will be keen to get involved in a big fight in 2026.

The exciting Elif Nur Turhan holds the IBF title whilst Stephanie Han is the WBA champion but a unification with Dubois would be the most high profile, lucrative option available to the 29-year-old.

If the call does come, Dubois would be more than happy to answer it.

“Terri, she knows what's up,” Dubois said.

“I'm here, I'm a world champion. She’s a world champion. When the best get in the ring and fight you know that's when you find out who is running women's boxing and the 135 pound division. I think it's me. I believe it's me and I will stand 10 toes on that and if she's willing to step up to the plate then she knows exactly where to find me.”
