Campbell Hatton Hires Legendary Father As Trainer In Bid To Revive Career
CAMPBELL HATTON has teamed up with his famous father Ricky as he bids to get his career back on track.

The 24-year-old is 14-2 (5) after suffering back-to-back defeats to Jimmy Joe Flint during 2024.

The pair met in March and then October with Doncaster man Flint winning via unanimous decision in both of their 10-round encounters.

In the wake of the first loss, Hatton split with his trainer and uncle Matthew Hatton and decided to link up with Ben Davison and Barry Smith at their gym in Harlow, Essex.

But after that switch did not inspire him to victory in the rematch, Campbell has decided to head back home once more.

And now, for the first time in his four years as a professional, ‘Hurricane’ Hatton will be trained primarily by his 46-year-old father, the former super-lightweight and welterweight world champion, at his Hyde gym.

The youngster has not boxed since his second defeat against Flint in October and currently has nothing booked but it is understood that the new-look Team Hatton are hoping for a summer return.
