Junior middleweight contender “King” Callum Walsh is making a quick return after making quick work of Dean Sutherland on March 16.
Walsh is slated to headline a 360 Promotions show on June 21 at the Chumash Casino in Santa Ynez, California, promoter Tom Loeffler told The Ring. An opponent has yet to be determined for the showcase opportunity that will stream on UFC Fight Pass.
“After that first-round knockout against Sutherland, we couldn't wait too long to get him back in the ring. It's important to keep him busy,” Loeffler told The Ring.
Having knocked out four straight foes, the 24-year-old southpaw Walsh (13-0, 11 KOs) is making a strong case in his quest to become the face of Irish and TKO Boxing.
Walsh was originally penciled in to return in July, but after blasting Sutherland at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, Loeffler said it made sense to move up Walsh’s date.
The knockout artist Walsh’s last three fights have lasted a total of five rounds.
