Count Adam Maca among the fighters looking to land a spot on the Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford undercard.
Maca made his pitch to Turki Alalshikh in separate posts on X recently, asking for a coveted chance Sept. 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Netflix will stream their fight for Alvarez’s Ring, IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight titles and part of the undercard.
“Turki, you saw my last response did the most numbers,“ Maca said. “Get me on that card and I’ll show you exactly what I can do.”
England’s Maca (1-0, 1 KO) made his pro debut on the undercard of Richardson Hitchins’ eighth-round stoppage of George Kambosos on June 14 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. Maca, 18, stopped Rafael Castillo in the second round.
The bantamweight prospect dominated, landing several big shots against Castillo (2-7, 1 KO) before referee Arthur Mercante Jr. stopped their fight.
The British-Albanian prospect, who is signed to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, won five national titles and a silver medal while representing Albania at the IBA World Junior Championships in 2023.
