Brian Norman Sr. Claims He Knows Multiple Ways To Beat Jaron Ennis
Brian Norman Jr's win over Derrieck Cuevas was both explosive and eyecatching on March 29, but his Knockout of the Year frontrunner in Tokyo against Jin Sasaki last month made the world take notice.

Apparently, Team Norman were able to produce two career-best victories without giving it their all.

Brian Norman Sr., the WBO welterweight champion's father and trainer, usually tells his son to focus on the task at hand while coming up with a gameplan behind-the-scenes.

So far, everything has worked perfectly. Although while the duo have things firing on all cylinders right now, Norman Sr revealed his charge was able to deliver those violent stoppage wins while he prepared for an entirely different opponent in the background.

"Even when I was working on Sasaki and on Cuevas, you know who I was working on? Jaron Ennis," Norman Sr. told Tha Boxing Voice. "I need that fight."

Ennis and Norman Jr have been slow dancing around one another for quite some time, having first emerged as sparring partners before later becoming divisional rivals, the former did his best to get the WBO titlist into the ring over the past 12 months.

The Normans however, were unimpressed with Ennis' promoter Eddie Hearn's offers and instead that prompted 'Boots' to pivot towards a unification against unbeaten WBA titleholder Eimantas Stanionis for the IBF/WBA/Ring titles at 147-pounds.

Ennis produced another impressive display to unseat the Lithuanian, before admitting he'd take time in figuring out what was next. Although he wanted another undefeated name on his ever-improving resume, the 28-year-old has now decided to officially compete in the junior middleweight division after years of well-documented battles with making weight.

A matchup between them, at least for the foreseeable future, is unlikely. Ennis is prioritizing his health and naturally looking forward to fighting the world's best at 154-pounds now.

According to some, beating Ennis is a near-impossible task but as Norman Sr. continues looking at film and breaking down his tendencies, sees a beatable champion.

"I know several different ways to beat that man, several."
