Bam Rodriguez-Phumelela Cafu; Diego Pacheco-Trevor McCumby make weight in Texas
The super flyweight title unification bout is set between The Ring and WBC champion Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez (21-0, 14 KOs) and WBO beltholder Phumelela Cafu (11-0-3, 8 KOs).
The headliners successfully weighed in Friday ahead of their main event fight Saturday at The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas to headline a Matchroom Boxing card llive on DAZN.
Rodriguez weighed in at 114.8 pounds and Cafu tipped the scales at 115 pounds.
In the co-main event, Diego Pacheco (23-0, 18 KOs) takes on Trevor McCumby (28-1, 21 KOs) in a 12-round super middleweight matchup.
Pacheco and McCumby both weighed 168 pounds on the dot.
DAZN will stream the card headlined by Rodriguez-Cafu beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
Prelim bouts are set to stream on the Matchroom YouTube channel beginning at 5 p.m. ET.
