Alycia Baumgardner has signed a deal with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions.
Undisputed junior-lightweight champ Baumgardner (15-1, 7 KOs) joins seven-weight titlist Amanda Serrano, who has a lifetime deal with Paul's promotional outfit, at MVP.
“I’ve always believed in betting on myself, and signing with MVP is the next big move in that journey,” Baumgarder said.
“MVP has proven they’re leaders in women’s boxing, creating the biggest opportunities for fighters like me to shine.
“This partnership is a natural fit – not just for my career but for the impact we’re making on the sport. The future just got even bigger.”
Though not yet confirmed, it's expected that Baumgardner will be on the undercard of Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano on July 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The card is set to be streamed live on Netflix and will feature an all-female fight lineup.
Baumgardner first rose to prominence in 2021 when she knocked out Terri Harper to win the WBC 130-pound title in Sheffield.
The 30-year-old then unified against Mikaela Mayer at the O2 Arena in London two-and-a-half years ago before becoming undisputed champion against Elhem Mekhaled in February 2023.
In July 2023 after the first defence of her titles against Christina Linardatou, Baumgardner tested positive for a banned substance.
Baumgardner denied knowingly ingesting any banned substances and two of her other samples came back clean. Her temporary suspension has since been lifted after being cleared of any wrongdoing by the WBC.
