Rising lightweight contender
Dzmitry Asanau will look to produce a career-best display after it was today announced he'll return against Claudio Daneff on February 5.
Their 10-round contest will feature as the chief support bout preceding
Albert Ramirez-Lerrone Richards at Montreal Casino, Canada in the first Eye of the Tiger show of 2026.
Ramirez (22-0, 19 KOs), The Ring's No. 4-rated light heavyweight, will defend his WBA interim title against Britain's Richards (19-1, 4 KOs) six months after winning it with a
seventh-round stoppage of Richards' compatriot Jerome Pampellone in Benghazi, Libya.
WBC's No. 4-rated contender Asanau (11-0, 5 KOs) will make his fifth appearance in 18 months and
has been steadily improving in a busy 135-pound division. Daneff (24-4-1, 11 KOs) built up a solid resume in South America and is riding a three-fight win streak.
Meanwhile, hard charging Mehmet Unal (14-0, 12 KOs) will meet fellow unbeaten hopeful Altin Zogaj (17-0, 9 KOs) in another 10-round contest, this time between light heavyweights.
Thomas Chabot (11-1, 8 KOs) is dropping to featherweight after a career-first defeat last time and will face Dominic Babineau (13-2-1, 11 KOs) in another scheduled 10-rounder.
2024 Olympic bronze medalist Wyatt Sanford (5-0, 2 KOs) will start his year against Alexis Gabriel Camejo (10-5-2, 1 KO) in a scheduled six-round bout at a 137-pound catchweight.
Touted junior lightweight Erik Israyelyan (4-0, 2 KOs) will step up to the six-round distance for the first time, facing France's Anthony Deloffre (9-4-1).
Rounding out the card, Keven Beausejour (1-0, 1 KO) and Petr Strnad (4-3-2, 2 KOs) meet in a four-round light heavyweight bout.
